You gotta start somewhere. Our story started with my grandfather, Papa Felico, who immigrated to this country from Italy, opened a wooden vending cart and sold Italian candies and roasted peanuts at street fairs. My father, Dominic Felico, followed in his father's footsteps and found a market selling Italian sausages from a street cart. Not wanting to go against family tradition, when it came time for me to enter the fast-paced New York workforce, I decided to open my own Italian sausage cart. My sandwiches were so mouth-wateringly delicious that word began to spread beyond the confines of my kiosk in Queens.
Soon I began to receive calls from businesses far and wide, and I realized that the market for my sandwiches extended beyond the borders of New York. Working hand in hand with my wife Diane, we gathered capital to take our original concept, Dominic's of New York®, nationwide. After the overwhelming success of Dominic's of New York®, we developed Johnnyboy's® specifically for the Home Depot® locations. (Johnnboy was my childhood nickname). Since then, things have been moving at top speed. Part of the reason for our success is that we fulfill an empty niche in the fast-food industry. The main reason, though, is our irresistible, unique and great-tasting food. In keeping with family tradition, Johnnyboy's® is committed to serving only the freshest, finest products. We offer great value for the money, and we pride ourselves in providing extraordinary customer service.
Currently, our Johnnboy's® kiosks are located outside of Home Depot® stores. Our other concept, Dominic's of New York® is located not only in kiosks outside of big box retailers, but at athletic stadiums, military bases, and government buildings. We 're also at shopping centers where we install more traditional food court locations.
